PENNABILLI (RN) – La band JAMILA & THE OTHER HEROES arriva per la prima volta in Italia. Si esibirà per tre giorni, da venerdì 3 a domenica 5 giugno al Pennabilli Festival (RN).
Guidata dalla vibrante vocalist Jamila Al-Yousef, nata a Berlino il giorno della caduta del Muro e con le influenze musicali e culturali del padre, rifugiato palestinese.
La loro musica testimonia il mix di culture, la stessa Jamila dichiara «As people with family backgrounds in Syria, Palestine, Italy and Colombia, we travel and create home within our music».
La band definisce il suo genere musicale in “Psychedelic Desert Funk”.
